Q: Changed my timing belt just a few years ago. Recently the lifters began rattling badly at idle & low speeds, sounds like crap. My question is how can i fix this problem or get any info on how to replace lifters for my engine. They don't have instructions on lifters in my 26170 Chilton book. Please help
A: Well if it was mine i would find a machine shop and take head in to have it reworked new valves,lifters,valve seats,magna fluxed,milled check around i know a place around my town that will do all of that for 125.00 witch is very fair price.And you can find one around your town, GOOD LUCK!!!
