How do I remove the distributor module on a 1995 mercury mystique?

Q: My car is acting like it wants to turn over but isn't and my friends think it might be the module thingy but I don't know where it is and how to take it out so I can replace it... That...and i'm low on cash so I can't take it anywhere to get it done professionally. PLEASE HELP! I miss driving my own car! When I turn the key it's firing but it's just not catching. I've never had any problems with it before and it's in pretty good condition. I replaced the Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump, but nothing's changed. It's a 2.0L V4 by the way

A: if the engine does not turn over this is not the problem,but on the 2.0 L engine the module is mounted in the center of the firewall and on the 2.5 L DOHC engine its on the passenger side of the firewall. wish i new how to help you more but the info you gave is limited. Good luck
