Q: '99 Mercury Cougar V6 2.5 DHOC............When i come to a stop the RPM's so down then go back up, I have to rev it up to 1500 RPM's in order to past the hesitation, It sucks cuz when im at a stop sign or stop light i have to work it as a stick, one foot on the break and one foot on the gas, And my check engine light is on. Please Help
A: Have the car scanned I'll bet its a missfire and your computer is scrambling to keep the car running without having all the cylinders firing!!
