Q: lately the alarm has been acting the fool. I think I need to totally dismantle it? Do I have to take it to the mercury dealer to have it done? I bought a new battery end of december
A: Depends upon the alarm, but if it doesn't have Ford/mercury/ or nissan (who built the villager for Ford), then it's a aftermarket alarm and the dealer will tell you to take it somewhere else... Normally that is what I run into is aftermarket kits causing weird stuff like that
