Q: i have a 93 and 2000 model both less than 75,000 miles

A: Whats your budget? Are you going to keep them or trade them off every 3 to 5years? If you going to keep them until the wheels fall off use a high quality syn oil Mobil One, Amsoil, Redline, Castrol or Pennzoil. My preference is Redline 5w20, Castrol 5w20 or Mobil One 5w20 or Mobil 0w20 in extreme cold. I use the Redline in my wife's 2000 Grand Marques. I change the oil every 7500 mile in her car we have 225000 miles on it. I use Castrol In my Power Stroke Diesel 150000 miles. I Use Mobil One in our Honda Civic 115000 miles . Conventional oils I would use Mobil , Castrol, Shell. Kendall or Valvoline. In the past Quaker State , Pennzoil,Texaco, and have not been on the cutting edge of oil additives which is where you get the protection from. A great web site is http://www.synlube.com/oilv.htm if you have further questions.
