Q: when i go to turn on the heat on a cold mornings lately seems like there no heat blowin out an feels like cold air. And one day after havin the heat on for 30 mins none ever came out, My question is could the heater core be bad or maybe a line clogged or unhooked?
A: That might have a in line heater control valve - if so - sometimes the small vacuum hose going to it comes off, or the Vac hose that supplies Vac. to the inside of the car. Feel both the heater hoses so U can tell where the hot ends & the cold begins..IF the heater isn't used every year , NO MATTER if it's cold or not , IT collects all the rust & crud in the system, then after u get it cleaned out - it starts leaking.IF it's used all the time,maybe your mixer doors or actuator is bad..Did someone bypass the core ?
