A: Trading my Toyota for a 2000 Cougar it is the best move Ive ever made-the Cougar was excellent and very reliable. Youre going to get much better info from other sites. Try www.fastcougar.org and www.teamneco.com. I doubt the supposed Ford tech really is one--neither of those problems is common on that model of the car. Do not buy an auto unless you just want the looks. The I4 MTX and V6 ATX have the same performance because of the pos ATX tranny--it was originally used for economy cars. The MTX 75 is a great tranny and easily handles massive power increases as well.
