Q: Hi I am looking to replace my module that houses the master code for the keypad entry on my mercury 05 mariner. What is the name of it? SOmeone stole my master code and as far as I can figure you cannot change the master code....becasue it's hard wired? Anyhow I need a new unit but it's hard to find when you do not know what its called. Thanks FHLH
A: On this year/model it is in the Smart Junction Box (SJB) which is located located under the front passenger side floor console. 14B476. I suggest taking it to the dealer since there are functions that need to be downloaded from the old module and uploaded to the new one.
