Q: i have a 1997 cougarxr7 anni.edition trying to set up the program sequince for the door locks,trunck etc can anyone tell me were the wires are for the keyfob set .so far ive been told that they are on the left rear quarter panel but cant find any plug to jumper anyone know where this might be thanks
A: Do not start car but cycle ignition to the on position then to the off very quickly up to 7 times-if you hear the electric door locks cycle at any time,leave the key in the on position and push and release every button on your key fob one after the other.As long as you can hear the door locks cycle this would be the proper procedure for programming your key fob.
