A: We are almost at 4,000 miles on ours and we love it. We had Explorer/Mountaineer/Windstars prior and this time we decided we didnt need to go that big. We compared to Escape which is the same vehicle but not as nicely appointed and the Edge. The Edge is incredible but the Mariner won out because the lease payment was a little less. The Mariner is a great SUV...it is solid, comfortable, stylish, economical and just the right size. We also compared to several Jap imports and the Mariner wins hands down. All the import crap felt cheap and "tinny" plus they were way over-priced. I can only speak for myself but I would HIGHLY recommend the Mariner or the Escape. Good Luck!!!!!
