Q: is this generaly a high end car among suv's?
A: It's actually considered a mid level medium sized SUVs.... the Lincoln Aviator was supposed to be the high end for that sized SUV but didn't sell to Lincoln folks who like bigger cars. So Mercury has positioned the mountaineer as a mid to higher level (but not a true high end vehicle like the Aviator was) Ford is supposed to be base level like a Chevy, Mercury is supposed to be mid level like a Buick, with Lincoln being a high end premier car on same class as Cadillac
