A: Not sure which engine you have, but if you have a vacuum leak then it will act in much the same manner. There is a cluster of small lines that run under the upper intake. They have a boot over them that looks like a spark plug wire end that is supposed to slide on a 1" long nipple that hangs under it., it is supposed to just slide onto the nipple but my wife's was too loose so I had to use a hose clamp to tighten it... Check all the other hose connections as well. Second usually any type of issues sets of the "check engine light". If it has then you are able to test it with a ODB2 system check. That will tell you what type of direction you need to proceed in to cure any problems. If it hasn't set it off then you have to run the engine some more for the computer to gather info first.
