Q: My 1992 grand marquise keeps shuting down on me when I hit the brakes or when I make left or right turns,or when i use the windshield wipers? Sometimes when I first start the car it will lose all power and memory,but I just want to know why it stalls when I hit the brakes or make turns.The car been very good to me but this is the only problem it has.
A: I'd recommend throughly cleaning the battery terminals: remove both cables, and clean them with a little water and baking soda, then scuff the surfaces with fine sandpaper.
