Q: I have a 2001 Mercury Cougar I4 (DOHC Zetec-R - 2.0L) I am considering: a) building my own cold air intake (probably using K&N filter) b) installing a ram air intake (weapon-R) c) if all else fails put in K&N air filter in the OEM air box

A: Go to www.newcougar.org, find a guy named GMK. You'll want to buy the Cold Air extension he sells, and check around there or ask him for the Ram Air Intake to use with it. You can always just buy the Ram Air for now then buy the extension later.
