Q: So I'm looking at this car and I'm kind of confused by the sort of transmission it has. At first the description says "Transmission: automatic" but then after that I read "6-speed close-ratio manual transmission with short shifter." Neither is in the "options" list (i.e. both features seem to be there by default), so I am confused. I mean, it can't be both automatic and manual, right? Also, I don't see a clutch. By the way, this is a 2005 C230 benz, if this helps.
A: It's a 6 speed automatic. You can manually shift on the fly by moving the shifter from side to side in Drive.
