Q: i heard that mercedez benz had a lot of engine problem that will break down easily after 50k mile.is it true?? what about the 2006 or 2007 one?do they have any improvement on it? because i am planning to get one. for those who own one can u tell me about ur experience??thanks alot
A: with a 2006 or 2007 you will have the V-6 which is a great, bullet proof engine. in 2005 or pre2005 the Kompressor 4 is the one you probably hear about. They are great engines, but because its supercharged its its a smaller engine working as hard as a bigger one, in some cases this results in problems as the car gets older, alot of times the O2 sensors will go out about 50K miles, but it is still a great engines, and none of these problems are for sure, it is a bulletproof engine as well.
