A: It was not standard equipment back in '97 but rather a dealer installed option ( but the vehicle is prewired to have the CD player installed, that is why all '97 MB's have the 'CD" button on the radio ). If this vehicle does have one, there will be a 6-disc player in the trunk on the driver's side ( in the little pocket under the taillamp area ).
