A: Does the vehicle have a Benz phone kit installed? I'm not referring to the "phone" button on the radio, that is standard on all 2004 models. The phone kit was a dealer installed option back in '04 and to update the kit to accept any Blutooth phone, a Blutooth puck has to be installed in place of the handset that came with the phone kit. If you do not have this, this will have to be installed first. Keep in mind that it is expensive ( + $2K )
