Q: Okay, so we were thinking of modifying an '84 RX - 7 and dropping an engine from a new RX-8 in there. The RX -8 is 6 speed so we'd need to change the transmission as well right? Would we need a new harness for the swap? And how do you find a place that sells them? thanks!
A: Oh lord- your best bet would be swapping a T2 (turbo) engine in out of an FC (86-91) RX7. The RX8 engines would be a crazy anount of work to install and you'd need so many electronics it wouldn't be funny. You might want to register on www.rx7club.com .
