what should be the tire pressure for a 2002 Mazda 626?

Q: When i first bought my Mazda 626 the tire air pressure was set at 29 PSI.I recently saw on the side of the tires that it should be 44 PSI.i Don't know if i have the proper air pressure in my tires. What should be the proper air pressure?

A: the proper psi on all tires except for heavy trucks are 32psi even consumer reports says 32psi will help you with tire life, better gas millage and more safe on the road over inflated will only cause problems on the door there is a sticker with the vin number and stuff, sometimes the psi on the tires can be founded there heavy trucks are 100psi just to let you know
