Q: Hi, I own an old Maruti Zen and have 2 questions: - My windsheild has cracked up and I think it needs to be replaced. Could anyone help me with what it would costs and alternatives - The engine turns itself off sometimes. This is usually when its cold and not driven for 5 to 10 minutes. A: Regarding your windshield, you get full replacement from the insurance company, so you dont have to spend anything. 2nd Problem:Get your carburettor cleaned (engine tuning includes carburettor cleaning, clogged jet cleaned [it might require replacement] cleaning of spark plugs).I think it is the slow jet which is clogged and it is a one minute job for the mechanic to do it. I hope you are changing the engine oil & filter every 5000 kms or around. Happy motoring!
