Q: I was driving my car today, and I kept hearing my fan coming on. I also noticed my temp was a little higher than normal. I put antifreeze in and drove it around the block, and then i noticed i had no heat. so igot home, poped the hood and saw antifreeze on top of my engine, like pooled, and i could hear a hissing noise. I saw hose that was wet...could it be this?? i have never had a problem with this car overheating...and now I am, and my car seems to not be holding anti freeze for long periods of time. its not under my car..i couldnt figure out hwere it was going..but now i can see it pooled like under the hoses. any help here... I had someone look at it, and they think it is the hose. Like I said, When I opened my hood while the car was just turned off, you could here a hissing noise..coming from near the hoses. Maybe my thermostat needs to be changed to..I dont think its my water pump..why all of a sudden with no warning? If there is a pinhole leak in my hose..This would cause my car not to hold anytfreeze, and not accurate pressure coming from this hose...causing it to overheat?? idk not head gasket...been there with a previous car. Nothing like what I went through with that car. Its the hose.

A: the anti freeze might have leaked onto the engine from the hose. i recommend going to the mechanic.
