Q: I run the a/c and minutes later it starts to drip out of the botton part which is there to cool your legs it has a constant drip which leaves my carpet wett what could it be my heater coil went out and I bypassed it for now but will be fixing it soon,but i dont think the heater would have anything to do with the air conditioner how do i make the dripping stop?
A: There is a condensation drain line that is plugged. It is designed to drain the moisture that collects on the evaporator coils (part of all ac units) to the outside. Find that line and clear it and the dripping inside will cease.
