A: Well this is a very controversial topic...the MK is supposed to stand for "Mark" as in the traditional Lincoln (Mark II, III, IV-VIII, ect.) The "S" in my opinion stands for "Sedan," but Lincoln has not confirmed this at all...so pure speculation. Hope this answers your question! BTW, if you are interested in buying one, I personally test drove one, and I thought it was one of the nicest cars for its price range.
