found what appears to be a lincoln engine need more info?

Q: found this engine in my local salvage yard and want to know exactly what engine it is? I think it's a 429 but don't know for sure. the numbers that I found are c9ve-b which translates into a 60-69 lincoln engine and from what i've read in ford engine parts interchange it should be the 429. For those of you with this same book the bellhousing pattern is the same as the on pictured on pg 96. But I don't believe it's a boss 429 but it could be possibly? This engine also has weird looking freeze plugs with bolts through the middle of them. Please any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
