Q: I am looking to get a Lincoln MKX here in the next couple of months. I have already started looking I just wanted some feedback for the people who own a MKX. And your thoughts about how happy you have been with this vehicle.
A: I own an '08 MKX, and when I was shopping I test drove the Buick Enclave, Acura MDX, Cadillac SRX, and a few other luxury crossovers. I had my mind set on the Lincoln from the get-go, but I didn't want to rush into it not trying anything else. I test drove the Lincoln last, and I was far more impressed with it than any other. The price was the best offer out of the group, and the look is fairly distinctive (but does kinda look like a Lexus RX350). The Lincoln had the best ride, standard options, ect out of the group I test drove also. Basically, I was even more impressed with the Lincoln than I though I would be. Just make sure you get a panoramic sunroof if you do get a MKX. A lot of people just disregard these as a fancy Ford Edge, but those are the people usually who hate American brands, or can't afford any type of luxury vehicle. I have gotten quite a few compliments on my MKX, and I have no regrets buying it. I am 32 years old, a white male, and a Nuclear Engineer. My wife drives a Lincoln also. Good luck if you get one!
