Q: I was actually posting this for people looking for the answer...Here goes, 22's CAN fit onto a lincoln ls WITHOUT mods. I have a 2004 with 22's on it and there were no mods need. A lot of people who answer this question either do not have them on their car or do not own the car altogether. bolt pattern is 5 x 108 with tire width of 8.0 or 8.5, if you go any larger than 8.5 your tires WILL stick out of the side of the car and look piss poor..with this width you will clear the front wheel well and slightly touch the rear of the well(meaning that it only leaves the impression of the brand new tread, however does not bend the well at all)..this depends on the tire u buy. I have 235/30/22 and the ride is better than what I thought and the look is great. Some places will ask if you want to put a minor lift kit on the car but this is actually not needed, it is more for the "just in case" factor. Stock suspension will hold this size just fine.
