Q: I purchased a 2003 lincoln aviator with no keyless remote. I bought one and need to know do I have to have one to program one or is the new remote okay as some vehicles need both???????

A: You only need one remote to program. Cycle the ignition key between the OFF and RUN position EIGHT times, ending in the RUN position until you hear the power locks cycle off and on, indicating that it is in programming mode. Now simply press any one of the buttons on the new remote and wait for the locks to respond accordingly. Once done, your new remote is programmed. Hope this helps.
