Q: whats the mileage range i should look for so i can still get a few good years out of it? how high is too high for a 2001? thanks in advance!
A: tough question to answer, in theory, you can expect to get 300.000 plus miles out of this car even though it is a "low end" Lexus ,providing that the vehicle is taken care of and the scheduled maintenance is kept up. This is the factor that is unknown when buying any used car. I wouldn't look for one with more than 125,000 on it and hope that it wasn't abused. 150,000 would be the max if it was a great deal. a 7 year old car should have about 105,000 miles given the average of 15,000 miles a year driven theory.
