Q: Struggling between these three cars, dont know which one to buy. They are around the same price ranger for used car. Help!!!
A: 04 Solara- front wheel drive which is excellent for year round driving, especially in states that have snow, best fuel economy out of the three and cheaper to maintain. IS300- pros- great car, rear wheels drive, will handle better then the solara given that it's a rear wheel drive car, has a similar engine to the supra which responds well to after market modifications if you're into that sorta thing. cons- RWD is not the best for winter driving and it will be the smallest of the three cars. GS300- same as the IS300 in terms of being RWD and having the same engine as a supra. It's also the biggest of the three and probably the heaviest. This will be reflected in your gas mileage... worst of the 3 aswell, I would take the IS300 personally, but if given a choice between the IS and a GS400/430 I'd take the GS without even thinking about it, a buddy has one and gave a me a ride- one of the nicest cars you'll ever drive and I really mean it.
