Q: What would a 2007 Lexus 300 get in the way of miles per gallon?

A: For the 2007 model year, there is no 300. Do you mean IS, ES, or GS. For 2007, the V6 models you are thinking about, either became 250 or 350. Anyways they are very fuel effiient and are all rated ULEVII. Don't listen to Just curious, he doesn't know anything. Lexus does not over-rate thier mpg's. The EPA governmetn agency rates the mpg. Starting 2008, the EPA started a new system which lowers mpg for all cars. So, if just curious thinks Lexus overrates the mpg in the past, Lincoln also overrated thier mpg. The important thing to remember when looking at mpg is to compare it with cars of the same year. But I'm sure any Lexus would have more power, reliability, fuel efficiency, and emissions than any Lincoln. What the heck is a Lincoln Z anyways? Does he mean Lincoln MKZ? Becuse if he does, the Lincoln MKZ is not as fuel efficient, not as reliable, not as comfortabel, not as luxurious, and does not have half the technologies of any Lexus. Also, I think the "American" Lincoln mkz is made in Mexico. At least the Camry is made in America, and most Lexus's are either made in Japan or in the U.S.A. I read somewhere that only 9% Ford's are made in America, the other 91% is probably made in Mexico or something. Just like GM, Ford is closing down its American plants and outsourcing labor to Mexico. This just screws up everything for small town Americans(e.g. Flint , Michigan). Toyota and Lexus are actually doing great in green tech and are building new plants in America, so Americans could benefit; unlike the "American" "Big" Three who wants to make more money and "benefit" the Mexicans while hurting America's economy. If just curious reads this, just to let him know. American automakers are coming up with "hybrids' and manufacturing cars that use ethanol 85. There hybrids aren't as sophisticated as Toyota's and aren't as fuel efficient. And ethanol actually creates more emissions in the manufacturing process, thanks a lot! Don't listen to Tyler P also. Look at his avatar. He's bio-hazardous! I know I wrote a lot, but its hard to battle ignorance. I could write more, but its enough. Anyways, to answer your question fully, Lexus fuel efficiency is a lot better when you compare it to cars with relatively the same power. I say "relatively" because lincoln cars aren't as powerful as their Lexus counterparts. It's true, for every Lexus competitor to th Lincoln, the Lexus has better emissions, better fuel economy, better reliability yet better fuel efficiency. Finally, I don't think the Big Three will last very long. Toyota is more American than them. And look at their stocks! Toyota Motors is at $100+ a share, and Ford is at a few bucks a share. And whatever happened to Chryasler stocks? hmmm...
