Q: Im going to get this looked about in a week or two, i just wanted to know other then silencing the car, will a cracked flex pipe cause loss of power, or bad gas mileage? Thanks in advanced
A: it will cause a slight lack of power and maybe a little less gas milage than what is normal. the leak tricks your oxygen sensors into thinking that the motor is running leaner than normal so it will richen up the fuel mixture causing these conditions.
