Q: i also would like to give my jeep a mean look a lift kit would be nece and some bigger tires but i dont know what kind of lift to put on it so that it's not sloppy or unreliable without paying a crazy amount of cash. Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

A: Check out http://www.Cherokeeforum.com or http://www.NAXJA.org Remember in most cases you get what you pay for. The cheap kits either lack in product quality or in completeness. If the kit is of decent quality then it will most likely be lacking some parts you will need. One of the most recommended kits is the 3.5" Rubicon Express kit. Which is great quality and complete and will allow 31" tires.
