Q: I just added 31 x 10.50 tires and a 2'' lift to my jeep. I was wondering if adding a cold air intake will increase my mpg.
A: Don't bother. The MPG increase with a cold air intake is negligible to non-existent. You may see an increase in power, but with 31" tires, your not losing much power anyway. Save the money and use it for something else.... Do you plan to offroad the jeep at all? If so, your money is better spent in getting some basic armor to protect your baby. In order of importance: - Gas tank skid - Oil pan skid - Upgraded tranny skid - Rock sliders - Theres more, but these are the basics.
