Q: Is it possible to put the top down on a Jeep without removing the windows? What are the negatives of this? I have an 03 wrangler sport.
A: You can put the top down with the rear windor "attached" but you would have to have the two side zippers in the up position so it is attached just at the top. You must take the side windows off....they will interfere with lowering the top and likely be damaged if you try to force it. If you have some $$ to burn, google the "Viking Half Back" top. It is an after market top that has windows that fold up into a safari type roof. Very high quality.
