Q: Should i buy a 1996 jeep cherokee 4x4? or a used honda 350 4x4 ATV ? i know the jeep is great off road but is it woth all the extra money and maintenance? thanks! i want to go off roadin , i dont REALLY need a vehicle but it might be nice. i like mud
A: Jeep Cherokee! If you are going to get into off roading then get the jeep. I mean if you are getting an ATV and want to go somewhere you have to haul it. Jeep's are not that difficult to maintain. That's my opinion. Really, if you are going to start out with a stock XJ (Jeep cherokee) you can still drive on Class III trails. I did it gracefully. All you really need to do is have good all terrain tires make some sway bar disconnects, get a tree hugger strap, tow hook(s) and you are good to go.
