Q: 86 jeep cj7 straight 6 2 barrel jeep sitting for a couple of years - giving tune up - started running - but gas started coming out the top of carb- not the main round hole but there is 2 small rectangular holes at top that it is flowing out of - can someone - point me in the right direction to start with
A: carburetor has to be tuned up a bit too much gas is going in and its not beter up or maybe it might not be the carburetor it could be the spark plugs that isnt sparking the gas or it can be the disbrutor for the spark plugs hmmmmmmm before anything go to the timing then check the spark plugs if it contunies go to the carburetor or fuel pump might be pumping more gas then its suppose to
