Q: I am looking to buy a jeep wrangler and it has 98 thousand miles on it. how much longer would it last? how many miles to jeep wranglers get to have because they just crap out?
A: i have a 99 wrangler that i have driven the crap out of. soft top, when i got it it had 135000 miles on it, and that was two years ago. i take care of all mechanicals myself, most recently replaced the oil pan gasket and radiator at the same time (different problems) and i am happy to announce that i recently crossed 275,000 miles!! the greatest thing about the jeep wrangler, is that it retains it's value over time. consumer reports recently ranked it as number four on their list of least depreciated vehicles. i love my jeep, and if you take care of it, it will take care of you a long long time. i will post sometime in the future to show when i break 300k!!
