Q: I currently own a '97 Jeep Wrangler. The clutch is a bit hard, and so is the shifting, but I'm used to it and it's fine for me. However, I test-drove an '01 Jeep Wrangler (Sahara) yesterday, and the clutch/shift system is a bit... easier, I guess you could say. The dealer man said the clutch isn't supposed to touch the floor, and is something that has changed with the newer models. I found it difficult to drive. Is he right and I just have to get used to it (if I end up buying it) or is he just lying to hide a major problem? Thanks for the quick response, and although I appreciate your help, I hope you're not right! I just want at least 1-2 more thoughts either confirming or opposing your answer. I haven't bought the Jeep yet, but let's just say I'm a bit worried now, ha...

A: nope they all about the same in how they work im sure betting hes trying to pull a fast one. some are softer but hitting the floor they all should go all the way down if it didnt feel right then i wouldnt buy it
