Q: Swapped from 4.0 to identical 4.0. It ran nice for 20 minutes then shut off and will not recrank.
A: Not that easy to answer. The sensor has a magnetic point on it that generates a VERY low voltage in the Milli Volt range. Simple continutiy test is NOT conclusive evididence of a failure. Make absolutely sure that there is not corrosion in the connector. You could have a wiring problem between the sensor and the CPU. Check,,battery disconnected the connection at the CPU. Good Luck
