Q: Are there new gears available for the WK and if yes, do we need a programmer to tell the computer about it? Also, Ive never owned anything with Quadatrack/Quadradrive so I have some questions regarding this. What type of axles are they , front and back? Dana's or Chryslers? Can you use an air locker with this system? Also, is the transfer case a double cardon setup or no?

A: I have an older model Grand Cherokee, and don't know too much about the new WK's. What I do know is that the WK's have moved over to Independent Front Suspension (IFS) to replace the front axle. The rear however, is still a solid axle. As for gearing and lockers, I'd check with this site: http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_specs.htm It gives pretty much all the specs on those Jeeps, from drivetrain to transfer cases to gearing, and that's where I would look if I wanted some information for a WK. Hope it helps!
