Q: I understand 12 can be ignored and 55 is telling you there are no more fault codes present, now... I found that 32 is related to the EGR Valve. The definition being (An open or shorted condition in the EGR solenoid circuit). My question is, is there a way to test the EGR system before you replace it and I could also not find where it's located. Also, is it safe to drive the vehicle with Code 32 present. I noticed it only comes on after 20 or more miles of driving with no change in vehicle behavior. I'm not saying it can be unimportant, but what might happen if continued to be drove?

A: It will not damage anything to run with an egr fault. It sounds like you have an electrical problem that may be the solenoid or the wiring that controls it. It will take an ohm meter to check it out unless it is an obvious fault with the wiring. It should be located on the intake manifold.
