Q: Are the removable doors standard on all jeeps? Is it legal to drive on the road without these doors unless you are a UPS truck or mail truck? And are jeeps reliable in the least?
A: It is legal in some states and provinces, check with your local police department on the requirements driving doorless. Also, in most states and provinces you must have your seatbelt on and at least one side mirror. You can get a mirror relocation bracket to place your stock door mirrors onto your A-pillar (windshield) with the existing hex nuts. Or you can head down to a motorbike dealer and find a bike mirror that will slip into the upper hinge for easy removal. I get some odd looks from people driving doorless & topless with my kids in car seats but the kids & myself enjoy the open air!
