Q: When I take the doors off, there is nothing to keep the door jam button in to keep the interior lights off. I couldn't figure how to make it stay off.
A: They actually make a part specifically for this. It is a little spring and clip the grabs the plunger of the door jamb switch and holds it in. Try www.quadratec.com for them. They are also inexpensive, but not as cheap as taking out the bulbs. If you get a 2007 and up wrangler they do not need this when you unplug the doors to remove them the switch circuit remains open just like if you had the doors shut.
