Q: I just bought a soundbar for my jeep second hand. I am lost as how to install it... It is a 99 TJ SE, so there aren't any pre wireings that I am aware of. Please answer...esepcially the gentleman who works at the Toledo Jeep company... thanks!
A: You will have to remove hard top or put the soft top down,then you will have to remove some of the roll bar padding and there will be mounting holes for the soundbar.I'm not sure but I believe there maybe some wiring under the padding for the soundbar,if not you will have to wire it yourself.I could be wrong on the wiring but 99 was so long ago I can't remember for sure,I know on later year Wrangler's we ran the wiring to the soundbar even if it didn't have one.If this doesn't answer your question feel free to e-mail me.GOOD LUCK
