A: Not if you offset the low mileage of the Jeep. Considering taking the bus, bicycling, riding a scooter or motorcycle to commute and then the fun driving you do in your Jeep won't pinch as much. Seriously if you are taking a scooter to work that gets 120mpg, then who cares if you take your Wrongler to the desert? Your overall expenditure isn't gonna be that much. Maybe you could get a used XJ Cherokee and with the cash you save you can spend a little more on gas and still have an extremely capable off-road vehicle. My XJ got between 15mpg and 27mpg and averaged17-22 on a daily basis. Good luck.
