Q: My mom was driving my jeep on the highway and when she tried to engage the cruise control, the car shut off. The breaks wouldn't work, nor would the gas. The gas needle went all the way to empty even though it's full. The power steering went out too. Luckily we were able to pull over and then it just restarted as if nothing happened. Anyone know what this is or why it happened. It's a new car and scary to think about.
A: The new JK Wrangler had the same problem when it was released,the computers had to be reprogrammed.Take it back to the dealer and ask if there is a computer fix for this.
