Q: I am lifting my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I am mainly lifting my Jeep for looks because this is my everyday vehicle. I would like to keep the ride as smooth as possible, but I feel a Jeep just looks a lot better with a lift and bigger tires. I am wanting to put 33's on the Jeep. What would be a good lift kit for this? Is there anything I should try to avoid when I lift my Jeep?
A: with the unlimited your at less of a chance of needed to get a new drive shaft to correct the driveline angle due to the longer wheelbase for the best ride i would go with an O.M.E (old man emu) 2 inch suspension lift with a J.K.S 1.25 inch body lift about 1200 dollars www.rokmen.com if you dont go the money for that.. a Full Traction 3 inch lift would do good also and is fairly cheap around about 800-900 dollars www.northridge4x4.com other brands would be Rubicon Express, Clayton, AEV (formely Nth degree) i would go after one of these brands ive listed in my answer so far beccause they get the best reviews ive seen for Jeep lifts
