Q: Does anyone know where I can get rear strut/shocks for an 93 Infiniti J30. I've tried all the regular stores like Kragen & Auto Zone but they say this is a dealer item and the dealers want a fortune for this. Please help, it is so embarrassing driving and my car makes so much noise.
A: I use the online parts finders to run some cross checks. The Maxima should be the same shocks since this is the basis for the J30. Type in 93 Maxima at like http://www.autopartswarehouse.com and then type in 93 J30 and compare the model numbers. If the models are the same, then you can go to the local shops and order them for the Maxima. You will probably find, however, it is cheaper to order them and have them shipped. Better yet, go on eBay and get them.
