Q: I had a chance to drive a 2008 G35 LOANER from my dealer, and he showed me how the keyless ignition system worked (I have a 2003 G35). My question is, what happens if you accidently break the key fob? Are you screwed, or is there a manual (using a regular key) backup? I just can imagine, you are on vacation, and accidently break the keyfob at a rest stop on the interstate, and can't start the car, because your spare keyfob is at home. key fobs are more sensative to drops, etc. If you drop your REAL key, it falls into a pool, it WILL still start the car...not so with a key fob.

A: None of our customers has had a problem with the I-key. You got a paranoid personality?
